CCIP welcomes the first interns of 2017. 2017-05-21 - The ninth year of the Cross Cultural Internship Program (CCIP) officially launched on May 20 with the arrival of the first group of student interns. This year, the program includes 74 interns split almost evenly across two sessions. The new arrivals were excited to begin what will surely be a fun and educational summer experience. On their first weekend in New York City, the interns had the opportunity to explore their new surroundings, in particular Flushing, Queens, where they are staying at the adjacent Asiatic and Super Lake hotels. On-campus pre-departure orientation for summer exchange visitors. 2017-04-10 - The past week (April 1 through 7), representatives from FUSIA, the organizer of CCIP, made a trip to Singapore, Hong Kong, and Macau to conduct pre-departure orientations for the prospective exchange visitors coming this summer to intern in New York City. The first two orientations were held at the College of Business at the City University of Hong Kong on Saturday and Sunday, the first two days of April, to meet with students from Hong Kong as well as student leaders. CCIP Announces Its Final Call for 2017 Applicants. 2017-02-17 - The Cross Cultural Internship Program (CCIP) announces the completion of all on-campus sessions with only a small number of positions remaining. Interested students should contact the organizer via Skype chat (fusia_18) to check host availability, complete docs 1-11, and arrange a phone dialogue in place of attending an on-campus Info Session and Intro Interview. During this third recruitment window (also called the open period), students from both partner and non-partner schools are welcome to apply. CCIP announces new alumni testimonials. 2017-01-15 - CCIP’s new publication sharing the feedback and thoughts of past participants has blossomed into a large-scale initiative spreading alumni accolades that the program has received from its nearly ten years of operation. “This was such a great opportunity. CCIP to begin second recruitment window on January 1. 2017-01-01 - After an impressive and popular first recruitment window that ended in November, CCIP is gearing up to begin another round of recruitment on January 1 for its summer 2017 program. “After the large success of our first round of recruitment, more students than ever are applying to CCIP, so we predict a large amount of interest from students during the second window,” said Elizabeth Kay, the principal of FUSIA Communications, the organization that runs CCIP. “We keep hearing of more and more interest all the time.” After the busy exam period and festive holiday season, students are undoubtedly exhausted and looking forward to their breaks from school....
